Buick.com Design System & Site Redesign

The challenge:

Buick needed a full redesign and migration of Buick.com to a modern, fully responsive platform. The existing site lacked mobile optimization, design consistency, and flexibility for future updates. The goal was to elevate the digital brand experience while improving usability, content scalability, and performance across all devices.

The work:

As Lead UI/UX Designer, I collaborated with a UX architect and developers to rethink the site from the ground up. A major focus was the creation of a brand-new digital design system featuring reusable components and scalable patterns—built to support ongoing updates and marketing needs.

My contributions spanned the full design process—from creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and responsive page layouts to developing a clear UX architecture that supported multiple user journeys. I led user testing efforts to validate our approach and refined designs based on real feedback. Throughout the project, I regularly presented concepts to stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in. I also worked closely with developers and content authors to ensure a smooth handoff, with particular attention to React compatibility and seamless CMS integration.

The result was a modern, flexible, and user-friendly site that set a strong foundation for Buick’s future digital initiatives.
